Bronx-born wordsmith Larry Benjamin writes gay literary fiction that gives voice to characters who fall outside the white homonormative narrative. Benjamin is also the Communications Director and interim Director of Development for Mazzoni Center, the Philadelphia region’s leading provider of LGBTQ focused services, including HIV/AIDS care and prevention and provider gender affirming services.

About the DAC What is the Diversity Advisory Council?

The Diversity Advisory Council (DAC) at Slice Communications is a collective of accomplished leaders from a wide range of industries, backgrounds, and lived experiences. Formed to bring outside perspective and accountability to our work, the DAC helps guide our team in creating more inclusive communications strategies and workplace practices. By engaging with these advisors on an ongoing basis, we’re committed to evolving our thinking, challenging bias, and building a more equitable future for our clients, our team, and our community.
