Marketing in Manufacturing to Millennials

Marketing in Manufacturing to Millennials

Join us as we explore new ways for manufacturing companies to attract and engage millennials as customers and employees.

The term “millennials” refers to anyone in the workforce under 40. They have rapidly moved into decision-making positions thanks to the expanding economy and the small size of Gen X, according to research from LinkedIn.

One defining characteristic of these newer members of the workforce is that they get news and information very differently than older members. One example: according to Google, B2B buyers under 40 do 12 steps of online research before they ever reach out to a company or take a call.

Similarly, younger workers are more challenging to reach and hire for manufacturing companies. This trend is obvious and well-documented in the industries.

Join Slice Communications and our panelists as we explore new ways for manufacturing companies to attract and engage Millennials – as customers AND employees. You will learn:

  • How to develop and promote content that resonates
  • How to engage these buyers in real life AND online
  • How to position and promote your company as an employer of choice
  • How other companies have found success

All proceeds from this event will go towards the “Women in Manufacturing Education Foundation.”

Panelists:

  • Altoro Hall, Director, Manufacturing and Advanced Industries for the Department of Commerce, City of Philadelphia
  • Ari B. Cantor, President, Insinger Machine Co.
  • Giulia Umile, Chief Operating Officer, Slice Communications
  • Moderated by Cassandra Bailey, President and CEO, Slice Communications
