The term “millennials” refers to anyone in the workforce under 40. They have rapidly moved into decision-making positions thanks to the expanding economy and the small size of Gen X, according to research from LinkedIn.
One defining characteristic of these newer members of the workforce is that they get news and information very differently than older members. One example: according to Google, B2B buyers under 40 do 12 steps of online research before they ever reach out to a company or take a call.
