Angela McCulley

Senior Social Media Strategist

Angela McCulley is a contracted Social Media Strategist at Slice Communications and an Emmy Award–winning marketing leader who has driven high-impact digital campaigns for some of the world’s most recognized brands. She has led strategy and execution across paid and organic social, influencer/UGC programs, e-commerce affiliate programs, community management, content development, and analytics for organizations including Toyota USA, McDonald’s, Amway, the American Academy of Dermatology, WKTV, and numerous nonprofit and consumer brands.

Angela has been at the forefront of several marquee brand moments, including two Super Bowl campaigns, large-scale NFL partnerships, national HBCU initiatives, Art Basel activations, and other cultural events that delivered significant audience growth and engagement. Her work has been recognized with numerous honors, including an Emmy Award, the ARF David Ogilvy Grand Award, the State of Michigan Citation Award for Marketing Leadership & Innovation, and multiple Communicator, Telly, and Eclipse Awards. She has also been featured in à la Mode Magazine’s “Women to Watch” and named one of the Top 10 Filmmakers in the State of Michigan.

Throughout her career, Angela has built and led high-performing social media teams, developed data-driven cross-channel strategies, and consistently delivered results that outperform competitive benchmarks. Her background spans agency, corporate, consulting, nonprofit, and academic roles, including several years as an adjunct professor teaching digital marketing and social media strategy at the university level.

Angela holds a Master of Science in Communication from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Aquinas College. Outside of work, she enjoys mentoring emerging marketers, exploring new content and social trends, bird-watching, and spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs.
