Sara McGovern
VP, SolutionsSara began her career in U.S. Senator Arlen Specter’s Philadelphia office before transitioning to Washington, D.C., where she worked for several Members of Congress in both policy and communications roles. Her policy portfolio focused on women’s and children’s health, homeland security, and appropriations. She later moved to the communications side of politics, specializing in strategy, speechwriting, and translating complex legislative issues into accessible, meaningful information.
After her time on Capitol Hill, Sara served as Press Secretary for RAINN and worked with the Food Research and Action Center before joining Slice Communications. At Slice, she led client service, public relations, and crisis communications efforts, helping organizations tell their stories and navigate moments of challenge and opportunity.
Sara has since transitioned into a business development role, where she partners with current and prospective clients to identify the solutions they need to meet their challenges and achieve their goals.
A proud graduate of Temple University, where she studied political science and English, Sara is also an avid Eagles and Phillies fan—you’ll always find her cheering on the Birds and the Phils.
