Cass brings a wide variety of experiences to the public relations and social media strategies she develops for Slice Communications’ clients. With a background in international politics, economics, and philosophy, communications has become her passion and she has been tapped by various industry associations and the media to share her insights and experiences in the field. In her career before Slice, Cass was a senior account executive at one of the top public relations agencies in the Philadelphia region. She began her career at Ketchum Public Relations in Washington, DC, and has also held positions with the Honorable Mark Oaten, Member of Parliament for Winchester; the Tory Party in the United Kingdom; and New Economy Strategies. She is deeply involved with her community, serving as Chair of the Board for Tree House Books and Secretary of the Board for Hopeworks ‘N Camden. Cass graduated from The Catholic University of America with a degree in international politics, economics, and philosophy.
Tyler studied strategic communication and business at Temple University, from which he graduated in the spring of 2015. A former superstar intern at Slice Communications responsible for securing a number of impressive media placements for a variety of clients, he is now officially on the team as a PR Account Manager.
At Temple, Tyler actively participated in many communications-related organizations. He held the position of vice president of the Public Relations Student Society of America throughout his senior year and worked on multiple accounts for Temple’s only student-run PR firm, PRowl. He also served as a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and was a campus ambassador for the music streaming service, Spotify.
Tyler’s recreational interests include reading, binge-watching Netflix and discovering the newest and best restaurants that Philadelphia’s culinary scene has to offer.
After spending nearly two years at a full service marketing agency, Jullieanne decided it was time to focus her attention on the service she enjoyed most: public relations. Jullieanne brings with her experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Her degree in marketing and accounting from West Chester University had Jullieanne evaluating things analytically – being later exposed to public relations in her previous role she expanded her understanding of communications. Now, Jullieanne can confidently call herself an experienced public relations guru.When not at the Slice office, you can find Jullieanne exploring the Pennsylvania trails, reading the latest New York Times Best-Seller, or spending time with her family and friends.
Michael D’Antonio has been immersed in the digital advertising business for over 15 years, leading client accounts such as Comcast, Microsoft, Major League Baseball, NBC, YouTube and AstraZeneca. He’s guided multi-disciplinary teams in research, strategy, design/development, and marketing of multi-platform products and digital experiences at agencies including McCann-Erickson San Francisco, Digitas Health and EPAM Empathy Lab.At the heart of what Michael does for brands -- large or small, B2B or B2C -- is balance business, marketplace and technical requirements in order to achieve unique digital experiences that delivering measureable results. Whether the client engagement involves strategy creation, audience persona development, website or mobile design/development, advertising monetization strategies, or omni-channel engagement, Michael is fluent in creating digital engagement tactics that work.Key accomplishments have included building multi-platform, customer-centric digital marketing program for B2B and B2C clients, and leading award-winning work launching a multi-platform strategy for USA Network and Major League Baseball's Windows 8 At Bat application. For the past eight years, Michael has also taught digital marketing and account management at Temple University’s School of Media and Communication.
Kelley thrives on strong coffee, good food, and divergent thinking. She comes from the startup world where she learned to truly appreciate a fast-paced work environment and the art behind social media management. A proud Hawk alumna, Kelley received her Bachelor’s of Arts—majoring in Political Science and minoring in English—from St. Joseph’s University in 2010. She also received her M.Ed from Cabrini College in 2013. After spending some time in education, Kelley discovered her love of social media through the creation of her blog, Lavender & Cream. As a food blogger, Kelley is in a never-ending love affair with her kitchen. She loves the farm-to-table food scene of Philadelphia and she can never turn down a solid charcuterie tray. When she’s not in the kitchen, you can find Kelley in a dim corner of a bookstore or meandering down the quiet streets of Fishtown. Kelley is continuously inspired by the Good News section of HuffPo, sappy Jane Austen novels, and her amazing family.
Jenni brings more than 15 years communications experience in entertainment, e-commerce, consumer products, cable/broadcast and nonprofit organizations to Slice Communications. After studying communications at Rowan University, she began her career as an editor at a music trade magazine in Great Neck, NY.
However, after four years on the other side of the fence in the publishing biz, her passion for PR drove her into the heart of NYC where she led the PR team for the BMG-owned Milan Entertainment record label. Two years later, when Milan made its move to Hollywood, Jenni opted to stay on the east coast and joined the PR team for CDNOW, Inc., which was – at the time – the second-largest Internet retailer behind Amazon. Over the next several years, she held various manager and executive level positions at some of the country’s most recognizable businesses, including the multi-billion dollar QVC Inc. and the iconic Miss America Organization.
Jenni joined Sprout (NBCUniversal’s preschool television channel) in 2006 and spent the next seven years as head of communications for the network, most recently in the role of vice president of communications and marketing. While there, she built Sprout’s communications department from the ground up and developed a solid reputation for the start-up channel with both consumer media and cable trades as an innovator and leading children’s television network. She also acted as the network’s main media spokesperson and was a member of the senior executive team for Sprout, handling all internal and external communications, show publicity, talent relations, social media, crisis communications, prosocial and viewer services.
When Jenni isn’t chasing that perfect pitch for her clients, she is running after her three adopted dogs (two pitbulls and a terrier schnauzer). A huge advocate for animal welfare and rescue, Jenni volunteers for local no-kill animal shelters and organizations specializing in the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of pitbulls who have been abused or abandoned.
Alyssa graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Marketing and Communications and has thrived at fast-paced agencies. She began her career as an account manager at Social Vantage, where she developed content and advertising strategies to engage audiences across a range of social and digital platforms. Prior to joining Slice, Alyssa enhanced the online presence of lifestyle and hospitality brands as a social media manager at Cashman & Associates.
Scott received a Bachelor of Arts - with degrees in Journalism & Media Studies and History, and a minor in Political Science - from Rutgers University. Focusing on media messaging, Scott spent time researching and writing about subjects that included the environmental activism found in the film “Wall-E” and its effect on audiences. While at Rutgers, Scott ran an SB Nation blog and covered Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union. His work has been published or quoted by The Guardian (US), ESPN, Sports Illustrated and Sporting News, in addition to other publications. Scott is a former gold medalist in the National Latin Exam, a junior varsity bowler and once coached a former United States Men’s National Team soccer player.
Victoria studied English Writing at the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a degree in Journalism. She immersed herself in creative event planning and persuasive advertising and marketing for the University. Her background includes experience in development and grant-writing at the Make-A-Wish Foundation and blogging and health news production at FOX News in New York City. Tori has a knack for building relationships and a desire to help companies better connect with their audiences, which led her to the Business Development team at Slice.
She is always making new connections, at cultural and philanthropy events, on the volleyball court, and volunteering. If she’s not out enjoying the plentiful Philly food scene, you can find Tori testing out new recipes in the kitchen and studying all there is to know about wine.
Jenn graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Her career began in the Pharmaceutical industry initially in a rotational development program. It was during that program that Jenn discovered that she had a passion to help diverse suppliers. Once she completed her development program she began working as a Supplier Diversity professional. Her passion for assisting diverse suppliers grow and develop is what lead her to join the business development team at Slice. In this role Jenn will collaborate with Minority and Woman owned businesses to tell their stories to a larger audience. Jenn loves to combine her engineering process skills with her fun-loving spirit to drive results and generate smiles amongst the people she works with! Jenn's favorite hobby is laughing and she enjoys it most watching a good movie or enjoying great food and beer with friends.
Brian graduated from Holy Family University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Marketing Management. While attending Holy Family, Brian was a member of the men’s basketball team and member of the dean’s list. Since that time, Brian has worked in a variety of sports and business related fields, including complex marketing for Comcast-Spectacor, a coach/mentor for the Snider Hockey non-profit, and membership services for Philadelphia’s premiere corporate golf experience, The Ace Club. All of these experiences have helped shape Brian’s skills to work in a fast paced agency. Brian enjoys spending time with family, playing Ice Hockey, and Golf in his free time, as sports have always been his avocation.
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, Charla pursued a career in elementary education only to realize that she would rather spend the bulk of her professional life with adults. Since her epiphany, Charla has been an office manager for three companies, most recently at Slice Communications in November 2011. As an office manager, Charla enjoys event planning, troubleshooting problems, and the satisfaction of knowing she helps the company run smoothly. Charla is a detail-oriented person who enjoys chipping away at a lot of responsibilities. Outside of the office, Charla has a strong passion towards volunteer work and is a talented artist who paints landscapes in both oil and watercolor. Additionally, Charla has managed several apartments for the past 10 years.
Jeff is a seasoned marketing communications professional who leads a public relations team at Slice. Through a variety of agency and in-house roles, Jeff has worked with dozens of consumer, B2B, and nonprofit clients, including prominent Philadelphia brands such as Wawa, SEPTA, and Beneficial Bank. Prior to joining Slice, he led marketing efforts at research and design consultancy Electronic Ink, where he was responsible for enhancing the company's reputation, increasing brand awareness and generating inbound leads. As senior manager of internal communications at Aramark, he engaged thousands of employees through daily editorial oversight of the company's digital communications channels. Jeff attended the University of Pennsylvania and launched his career at Braithwaite Communications, where he developed stories worth spreading and implemented compelling PR, marketing, branding, and internal communications campaigns. He has secured more than 800 media placements, including in The Wall Street Journal, ABC News and Businessweek.
Nick graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in the fall of 2015. At Temple, Nick excelled in the classroom and was accepted into The American Marketing Association's National Honorary Society upon graduation. As a former business development intern at Slice, his duties ranged from client outreach to assisting the business development team in a number of other pivotal tasks. A stellar work ethic led to Nick officially joining the team as a business development assistant in January 2016. In addition to quickly developing his professional career, he has a number of passions and hobbies outside of the workplace. In his leisure time, Nick enjoys catching a game with his friends and spending time with his family at the beach.
Darby is a creative and strategic thinker. When she isn't coming up with new ideas, she is on various social media networks and other sites to find what news is breaking.Before joining the Slice Communications team, Darby received her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication from La Salle University. At La Salle, she also received a dual concentration in Public Relations and Communication Management as well as a minor in English. After graduating, Darby worked at the Office of the City Representative as a Public Relations Specialist for the Philadelphia Marathon.Outside of the office, you can find Darby cooking up some of her favorite recipes from her hometown, Lancaster County. When she's not cooking, she's looking for new loose leaf tea to add to her ever growing collection or knitting a scarf or blanket for a friend.
Renee makes it her goal to find the right story angle that will get her clients featured. Since working in the public relations industry, Renee has found herself being immersed in the world of media relations, developing new and different strategies that will help her clients get that news story.
Coming from a small town in North Jersey, Renee moved to Philadelphia in 2014 to pursue her dream of living in a city and working in public relations. Renee comes to Slice with a diverse background of clientele including the food industry, technology, real estate, fashion, beauty and lifestyle and consumer goods.
While Renee is a public relations expert by day, in her downtime she loves to sign up for any race she can partake in such as the Broad Street Run and the Philly 10K. Also, since dabbling in the food and restaurant industry in her life before moving to Philadelphia, she loves to experiment with cooking and making new dishes based on her thoughts alone.
