Charlotte came to content marketing from a background in writing. Before joining Slice, she wrote and/or edited for a variety of publications, including the Flathead Beacon, Flathead Living Magazine, The Daily Pennsylvanian, 34th Street Magazine, and the University of Pennsylvania’s Almanac. At Slice, Charlotte uses her writing skills to create persuasive and brand-appropriate copy for emails.
Charlotte has returned to the U.S. after earning a Master of Studies in English at the University of Oxford. Before going to Oxford, she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English and a certificate in French. At Penn, she was elected to Sigma Tau Delta and Pi Delta Phi, the International English Honor Society and the French National Honor Society, respectively. She also received honors for two senior theses, one in English and one in creative writing. She won the Dosoretz Family Prize for the best essay written by a graduating senior at Penn.
In her spare time, you can often find Charlotte reading or writing fiction. She especially loves Victorian crime or mystery novels, like The Woman in White and Lady Audley’s Secret. She also spends a lot of time painting with watercolor or acrylic, and enjoys making art for her friends and family.
