Jen Burns is a consultant for Slice Communications. She is the Communications Manager for Peddler’s Village in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, an award-winning shopping, dining, and entertainment destination in the Philadelphia region. Jen actively promotes all of the festivals, events, restaurants, and shops through its many social media accounts, blog posts, press releases, and email newsletters, as well as through live interviews on Philadelphia-based television stations. Prior to Peddler’s Village, Jen held various roles in marketing and public relations, including as a copywriter and project manager for a digital marketing agency managing several multi-million dollar client projects.
While a marketing professional, Jen’s passion also lies with local history. As a Pennsylvania State University (BA, American Studies) and University of Edinburgh, Scotland (MSc, History) graduate, Jen has dedicated much of her time to the preservation and education of history through the publication of her book, Hidden History of Bucks County, and as president of the Craven Hall Historical Society in Warminster, Bucks County. She also serves as a board member of the Bucks County Housing Group, an organization dedicated to ending food and housing insecurity in Bucks County.
In her spare time, Jen enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, exploring parks with her dogs, visiting historic sites, and volunteering for local non-profits.
